What Heidi says :

Working with Anastasia and her amazing team including Neve Petersen and Jessie Mcnaught, has been wonderful from start to finish. Anastaisa’s work speaks for itself, it is distinct, beautiful, rich, natural and spontaneous. Her aesthetic has always drawn me in. Now that she has created a team to work with her, it makes the experience even more extraordinary. As a small business owner, there are always a million things to do, and having other ladies, professionals, take care of the styling and modelling, is wonderful. What a treat to be able to sit back and watch it all come together. I always say receiving the photos is like Christmas morning. All the hard work of multiple people wrapped up in one beautiful package. Anastasia has always delivered my photos to me within a week of the shoot, I love this fast turn-around time so that I can begin using the images right away! And the shoots themselves are SO MUCH FUN. The group of women that I get to work with on these days is pure magic. There is hussle and hard work for sure, but there is also always non stop laughter, joy and inspiration. I think we all come away from the shoots tired but exhilarated from what has been collectively created. Simply put there is no way I could make these images alone. They communicate the story of my business in a way that is both both dreamy and authentic. Thank you ladies!

About Heidi | Heidi the Artist

Heidi’s art and design is a natural extension of who she is and where she lives. Her paintings reflect the abundance of natural beauty here in Whistler B.C. and her Made in Canada clothing always strives to be comfortable, unique, sustainable, high quality and in alignment with the slow fashion movement. Using recycled materials and natural fibres such as bamboo, hemp, organic cotton, organic linen and silk, Heidi the Artist pieces are made to last.

The Heidi The Artist line was born when Heidi was at home full time raising her two young boys and was looking for a creative outlet. Once she discovered how to print fabric with my paintings she was hooked, and the rest is history! Endless ideas and inspiration keep her excited to move forward.

Heidi is currently based in Whistler and in the process of building a new home and a studio space in Pemberton, where she and her family will be moving as soon as it is ready, hopefully later this year! She is so excited to dive into painting again in a big way once the studio space is ready to go.

A big reason we love Heidi's work :

A percentage of all Heidi The Artist sales are given to POW (Protect Our Winters) & the SLCC (Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre) in equal parts. Because Heidi the Artist is committed to supporting the amazing work being done by these two impactful organizations.
